Later that pivotal day, I went to a good friend and communicated all my ideas. In sitting down with her, I came up with G.L.O. Styles, and then we came up with a meaning of G.L.O., “Guiding the Looks of Others.” It fit me so well. It wasn’t just about how you look outside, but how you feel on the inside. I knew how to do both. I have a special gift for looking at someone, seeing who they are, and learning how to elevate their look. I have a keen eye for detail and am insanely creative to seal the package. Mostly, building those relationships was so much more important to me. It became my responsibility to ensure that my clients felt good about themselves.
